Whereas my record came in one of the games against said Midianites. My
Urartian 4-man LCm unit failed its counter when in the fire-path of two
midianite camel blocks. I still don't know why the second one fired
but it did, and then they rolled +3...
...and one of them was behind the shieldless flank...

26 CPF?!? You're right, I did misunderstand...pretty much
disintegrated that unit, I imagine.

Side note: Those Midianites are a scary bunch, I know,
they were mine before I sold them to jon!

Dave et al.,
After my game at Dave's house and the pounding he
gave me we loaded up my truck at O dark thirty. I
placed my new army I traded for from Dave into the cab
and put my red tool box on the edge of the bed near
the cab window on my truck. I had brought some of my
better painted figures to show off to Dave in this red
box and I was very proud of them. Anyway, I got in my
truck and turned onto Nall Avenue to go home and (I
was going 35 miles an hour) I heard this clatter that
made my blood freeze! . . . It was my tool box full
of my best figures... I spent the next 2 hours with my
flashlight looking for the remains of my destroyed
figures! I am proud of the fact that I didn't use too
much foul language though. Has anyone ever had a
disaster like this? It really is enough to make a man
cry. I don't do that sort of thing(cry) but it sure
wrung me out for the next day at school during MAP
testing (our statewide testing)!
Cheers All,
Kelly Wilkinson
PS Does anyone know where I can get any Table Top
Games 15mm peltasts? I'm going to need to replace the
ones that got mangled. Luckily much of the other lead
was just Essex, meaning that I can obtain Essex
replacements with relative ease.

Another note to this is that Dave's dice were a
present from me! Killed by my own dice!!! Damn! I
guess that's the way my luck has been going---> South!

Oh yea. Chris Bump got a 4 fig LC unit caught inside 160p of my 4 LBS on
Carts. He failed his counter and did not even get to skirmish. Lots of
pain, and no little horsies left over!.
