For those who want to get away from playing the "killer" armies, one
option that the local group has used in the past was to have the
opponents make up the others army list, within pre agreed limits.

It completely changes the flavor of play with all the "grunge" on the
field and with the army optimized to worst case instead of best case. I
think that it gives a better feel for what period generals truly had to
work with most of the time and can be great fun to play.

I suggested to Tim and to a couple of others that this would be a good
way to run his 'Dogs' tournament. There's also no reason, inn such a
case, to keep one army throughout: just have all players provide one list
and troops for that list, then draw a random army each game Smile.
