Interesting. So how would you build a 2000 point Khmer list if you had the
figures?

around (34, but that extra point is OK ). I gain 3 units, and expand
the existing LI, for the cost of minimising the close foot, and I think
it's worthwhile.

The HC at 1600 I never got into action, they just marched around at the
back looking for a need. A support role on either flank is fine.

This is an idiosyncratic approach to the list, I suspect, but there you
are off the top of my head.

Clever. But the archive would find us tit for tat in this area, Mr :)

For that same record, I do find your list dissections valuable and I think that,
with a couple exceptions, the threads of the last two days have been some of the
best on WarriorRules. I'd really personally prefer more of the tactics and list
discourse and history and less of the dead issues.

I especially liked your post on scythed HCh as LI screen killers. I think the
newer players really benefitted from that one, as conventional wisdom is
otherwise.

Tim,
The truth is that Charles and Ewan had changed subborned the thread and I
was just changing the title to reflect this! I figured if Ewan had the kind
of time I think he does at work, he could come up with a "Jim Dandy" list for
Khmer for my NICT entry. That way he could at least take credit for my
forthcoming victories! lol!
