Dear All,

Some experimental rules for the festive season.

1. Either side may use one unit of the following type.
1E HCh pulled by 8 Reindeer with driver armed with Presents.
LIST RULE: Reindeer cause disorder as would camels. This is an
expendable unit except that presents are assumed to be alcoholic so are
a continuing cause of disorder to all non- teetotal troops. This unit
may be deployed in ambush in any Built up area which has a chimney.

2. Special terrain features: Mistletoe (deployed and costed as wood
plashing). Disorders Theban sacred band

3. Lazarus rule: Either side may claim (once per game) that one
destroyed unit is not really dead. It may be re deployed within 240p of
the Army's baggage.

4. Virgin rule: Any Female troop types ( eg indian Maiden Guard,
adolescent head-hunting girls etc) within 120 paces of troops armed
with LTS receive casualties as if in combat.

5. Any player who has convinced their spouse/partner/significant other
etc to buy them lead/WG paint/ or terrain for christmas receives an
automatic down 1 on all rolls. (They are already lucky enough!!)

6. Any player who is going to live long enough to paint the lead that
they already have -gets a +1 on all shooting rolls (They must be just
starting out in wargaming)

7. At the end of each bound, any player who has said anything like - I
remember back in 3rd edition when......- is subject to the Wargamers
cliche rule. They must be made to sing the following at the next comp
in their area

(to the tune of The First Noel.)

No TOG, No TOG,
the horsemen did say
to certain poor gamers on boards far away,
On boards far away, left loosing their sleep
to discover who's fighting, and how many deep
No TOG, No TOG, No TOG for me please
Gone is the King of Barkerese

8. Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh Rule: Any army may contain one body of
troops designated as -wise-. These troops must be mounted on camels and
must flank march. Being wise, they never roll to come on.

All the best for the festive season
