I have to admit I was surprised that they altered the book so much.
Especially, Aragorn was it necessary. Probably yes in order to bring Arwen
into the picture. Also bringing Elves to Helm's Deep. I wasn't to sure why
they did that. The charging into pike.They saved themselves by the blinding
light., did they need to do that????
If you ask my wife , she would say that Arwen was REALLY NECESSARY at that
point.After seeing the movie, she remarked that it was really great that
they had those romantic moments in such a heavy and intense movie.
