Do flaming arrows inflict any more damage when used against Troops
and NOT fortifications.
They are named as Incendiaries so I assume they use the
Art /HG/Fire/Naptha factors ?
or are they just to be used against fortifications ?

No, once you have them, they can be used on anything.

If Using them against say unshielded foot then I also assume that you
count the Bow, Shieldless AND Fire factors Smile Thus making a total of
9 factors ie Bow is factor 2, Shieldless is +3 and fire is factor of
4 Smile
Not really sure what to add up ?

You never go up the chart and add in shieldless to arty or incendiaries. You
never add two weapon lines together. So, just the fire line.

No, B max range is 240p.

Do Fire arrows only work at 40 paces ? >>

No, they work at the same ranges as the B or LB that shoot them.

Final daft question :)

Bows have an effective range of 80 paces and a long range of 480 paces
Do Fire arrows only work at 40 paces ?
I assume yes

And yes I've looked but cannot find anything

Boulders...flaming arrows...javelin incendiaries...I
think the guys are overlooking some gimmicks here:
-Lightning. All that metal armor. Lances, LTS, pikes =
Lightning Rods. We ought to be able to roll the
weather that would get us a good thunderstorm. After
that, lightning is bound to strike somebody. Right?
-Wrath of God. Sacred standards. Finally a reason to
buy the things. Offend the almighty, and your opponent
gets to send plagues of locusts, boils, Democratic
primaries and other calamities against your hapless
soldiery...and...and...and...EARTHQUAKES! They
happened all over the Holy Land! We could have
earthquakes that destroy their camps and make them
chaeck morale...and...and...and (snicker)

Funny thing is, in Fantasy Warrior, lightning bolts actually do more damage to
armored troops.....

Honestly, I am not sure what you are asking me. Fantasy Warrior is in
full-blown playtest, and yes, there is a lightning rule... But we are not going
to
inject FanWar into regular Warrior. FanWar is a supplement consisting of add
on rules, troop types and lists.

I love the fact that Jon almost always comes up with a pithy comment
to the posts that resemble the one below.

Any idea when we might see a bit of the new rules being injected into
warrior to make it Fantasy Warrior Jon? The clues you have dropped
so far make it sound great!

(And before you burn me for asking, I know you all are VERY busy. I
am just a fan wanting a little bone. Disregard if you wish! <wink>)
