Yes

I understand this applies to Flaming Camles. The Later American list
I am developing allows for expendable Flaming Liberals. In this list
I am considering making them also part of another group until
ignited. I believe this is historical since they often shifted from
cause to cause. My point of discussion is that if I apply the above
answer from Jon it will make them function of them in my list
extremely a-historical. For example: history shows that flaming
liberals caused disorder all the time, before ignition, after
ignition and they never seem to die. I am considering making them an
inexhaustable type unit so will probably have to come up with some
type of list rule. Another example applies to the actual definition
of "parent unit". Later American Liberals had a very loose
definition of parent. In fact the whole definition of what
constituted a family was open for debate during this time period.
Perhaps another list rule which allows them to shift from one parent
unit to another as they see fit according to the situation. Perhaps
even shifting to an enemy unit temporarily if it suited their
ultimate purpose.

Thoughts???

Without "Flaming Liberals" we wouldn't have strip clubs to flock to after
the Saturday tournament games ... PLEASE keep them in the rules Jon!!!

I just thought the discussion in this list was getting a little
tense. Just thought I would lighten it up a bit.

Hi;
When you do the rules for flaming liberals you must consider 2 special
attributes they have.

1) They will try to dis-arm their parent unit, but not themselves. In
extreme cases the flaming liberal will try to dis-arm their own army
completely. But, again, not themselves.
2) Each turn you have to roll a die before movement of the parent unit. On a
roll of "6" the flaming liberal has left to run for the Senate, naturally
from New York or Massassachusets. And the complete parent unit has gone with
them to be campaign staffers. Not to return during the game.

Chuck,
Thanks for the insights and rules recommendations. We might need
to come up with some historical examples though I sense I am going to
get some trouble from Jon and the list horseman.

Now, I don't know 'bout no Flaming Liberals, but I want to see a list
for the Biblical armies of Sodom and Gomorah. Imagine the battle cry
of "Here come the Gomorah-ites!" Would make a good doubles with the
Philistine list.
