I wanted to thank Don, Pat and Chris for the great convention and the

effort that went into making it a fantastic tournament.

This was the first big tournament I have travelled for and I

thoroughly enjoyed losing three games in a row if that is possible.

Tim Brown in the first game, John Lloyd's minor water feature in the

second, and a seemingly endless supply of Gilles' Wallachian cavalry

made that amazing feat possible. Thanks guys!

It was good to meet other players and see some old opponents.

I gained some really nice experience from this and I look forward to

the next one.

Thanks again,

Todd Varian

Second set of accolades that I've been included in. I really did nothing more

than the rest of you. Don and Pat deserve all of the credit. I was a host for

some out of towners and that was it, otherwise I was just an entrant. Thanks

for the warm thoughts, but I am really not deserving. It was great fun, though,

wasn't it?

Okay then, proportionately greater thanks go out to Don and Pat for

the preparation and only enough appreciation for Chris deserving of a

host and fellow entrant of FWW.

I still had an equal amount of enjoyment meeting you all and the same

prior amount of enjoyment for the tournament as a whole.

Good meeting you all.

You sell yourself short Chris.

A note to all the warrior players out there. Chris is one of, if

not the most gracious and generous host I have had the pleasure to

stay with. If you plan on being in the FWW area I would suggest

begging, pleading and cajoling Chris to stay with him! (Sorry

Chris, this may increase the number of guests you have!)

As for the tournament. I had a great time. My only gripe is the

distance I have to go to get to a tournament these days. (Nostalgic

memories of Pointcon and the 30 Minute drive there)

So to join the choir. Thanks to Chris (Whose efforts made the

tournament possible for me) Don and Pat, for putting on a very

smooth tournament.

Thanks to all!

Hmmm. . .

Well . . . , After being "sexually harrassed and tramatized" by Dwayne

Nagel, I believe I will be bringing a new award next year for the "sickest/most

perverted individual player at a Warrior tourney. We certainly won't be

discussing WHAT EXACTLY it was that Dwayne did, but rest assured that if "I" was

disturbed by it, it truly WAS TRAMATIZING!

Great Job Don and Pat for all of your efforts and it was great seeing

friends and my excellent opponents Andy, Hans and Sean. If it wasn't for an up 6

roll with some Irg A's and an up 4 roll with my Hungarian Ally, Sean would have

most assuredly beaten my Wallachians in a very close match!

As a new player to Warrior (the tourney was the 3rd, 4th & 5th times

I have played Warrior) I was amazed at the sportsmanship that was

displayed by all participants. A big thanks to Kelly, Gilles & Pat

for all their help, suggestions and patience. During play while they

were trying to collect points all three stopped explained concepts,

gave great suggestions and made this a very fun day indeed. Really

enjoyed the games. Only problem I have is explaining to my wife I

need more mini's. The LC, shieldless JLS has to go ! Great tourney,

good group of gamers.

Well done Don

Regards,

Andy
