OK, at the risk of ridicule for my complete "unhipness", who in the
heck is Lindsey Lohan and why would I want a date with her when I am
already married to the most wonderfull woman in the world?

Chris ... if you win, I'll take that date with Lindsey off your
hands, and buy your wife and yourself a nice dinner at the restaurant
of your choice. ;-)

I will be the first one to admit that I fall outside the norm in what
I see as a power army. Not generally being the sharpest tool in the
shed, I try to steal ideas from other players, and from what I read
on this board.
I know I upset Ewan with my Texas Comanche post, and for that I
apologize, but the reality of it is that his thoughts on this board,
and analysis of NICT armies has helped me out a ton ... and I wasn't
the worst player on Earth (only second worst) to begin with.
Scotts Common, in 25mm, takes Ewan's "hard target" approach to the
next logical conclusion with it's steady wall of two-rank fighting,
cost effective, spearmen. It also has a ready answer for anything
that can kill these spearmen. There are good anti-elephant troops.
The trade off is shooting, which it does very poorly, and scouting,
which it doesn't do at all. For years I tried to play armies that
were all things to all people, and without sounding egotistical, I
did have a good bit of success with those armies. The evolution of
thoughts (at least to me) is to pick armies that do something very
well, and ram that something down everyone's throat. For all the
things Scots Common does poorly, it does do some things very, very,
well.
As an aside, I wouldn't even consider this army in 15mm. Even that
small extra frontage is a big issue, and the extra room to evade
would almost ensures a few low scores. Better to pick something that
optimizes flank shots in my opinion, or if the "battle wall" enemy
won't spread out, gives you the opportunity to work the flanks. Later
Crusader plays up on those points in my opinion.

Oh my God! Chris, are you telling me that your married to Sharri Kovel? I always
knew she was awesome and am glad you think so too but isn't there some kind of
law against two guys being married to the same "most wonderful woman in the
world?". . . ;)

Kelly,
Being from Upstate New York I can tell you there are plenty of
Seneca's up there, that is where they were from (prior to Whiteman
movement), and parts of Upstate New York are named after them. Seneca
Falls/Park, Seneca the town, etc,
Ewan has already said this was in bad taste, why do you keep bringing
it up? Meaness?

Nope. Meaness is not it at all. I'm not into politcal correctness. Clearly,
Greg, Todd, and Duane wrote their list for fun. I'm offended by a feeling that
somehow Ewan would be thin skinned by something innocent. That's part of what is
wrong with liberals but I'll leave that up to Sean Hannity and Zell Miller to
deal with. Greg, Duane, and Todd should not have to appologize for making a dull
day enjoyable with a hilarious list, that's all.

I don't ever remember seeing the request for an apology, I remember
him saying to please stop.
Continuing after someone says please stop, yeah, that could be viewed
as meanness, or not caring about someones feelings.
