There will be a Warrior Gaming Event in Wilton, CT on Saturday, June 29,
hosted by Bill Low and sponsored by Jacob Kovel, to which all comers are
welcome. See the attachment for directions.
We plan to have three rounds of Fast Warrior in the morning, starting at
9:00 am, followed by two rounds of Warrior at 1200 points, starting at 2:00
pm and 6:00 pm. We will not do preset terrain, but some additional time
will be allowed for setup. We will have a couple of extra cloths
available, but plan to bring your own terrain.
We will be flexible in meeting individual gamers' wishes on scale and
armies. Available table sizes support a 15mm event, but bring your 25's as
well because there will be people here ready to play in that scale and we
will make do. For those who want it, we will substitute a 2-person team
event at 2000 points during the afternoon.
Plan on playing a single army for Fast Warrior, but you can run something
different in the afternoon. Two lists, same period, from either Biblical
Warrior or Dark Age Warrior or any WRG or NASAMW list for armies not
superseded by them. If you can manage it, bring a foot and a cav army for
the afternoon, or one that can go both ways, to facilitate good pairings.
SPECIAL NOTICE: Jacob Kovel of Silver Eagle will have Warrior Rules and
both Warrior Army List Booklets available for sale at the event, and is
willing to bring customer specific orders for lead for sale to anyone who
needs what he carries. I understand that there is no 15mm Biblical in
stock, but that he still has 25mm Biblical available. Since he can only
bring what people tell him they need, please contact him directly at
Eaglewars@... with your orders.
Thanks to all those who have given us advance notice of their plans to
attend. If you can make it, and haven't already let us know, it would be
appreciated if you would reply to this email with your plans. But replying
or not, and regardless of how many rounds you can stay for, we look forward
to seeing you here on Saturday.
