I don't need a lance rule to deal with a butthead who makes comments about my
army choice. :)

But, we are glad to oblige you, Greg!

Just a random thought ... the best arguement for the lance and a half rule
is, you can now play any number of very interesting book three German armies
without some butthead accusing you of only playing it because the knights
fight in wedge!

There is of course the flip side ... I had a Knights of St. John army about
80% painted before the lance rule and the new crossbow range rule came out
... and now everyone looks at me funny! KofSt.J is just an awesome army in
15mm ... probably even more so in 25mm.

other Horsemen in an earlyer posting but I wished to do it directly.
You guys are doing a great job and the no B. S. style is refreshing.
I hope the high standards, honor and respect is carried over to the
gaming table by all Warriors. I can't wait for the new list and rules
to be out. Thanks again David.

but research shows that late German knights rarely carried lance, so
watch out for the new lists !
