I am re-putting together an army for this list. I have an old one that
I did 20 years ago but I would like to update it with newer figures and
since I paint better now, I would like that it to reflect that. I
noticed in the NICT listings a couple of LAP armies, and I was
wondering if anyone would like to share how they put theirs together. I
have a dificult time when I have too much to chose from selecting the
right mix for 1600 points. I would like to see what others have done to
make this a competitve army. Thanks in advance for you help.

Yeah, me too.

I would also like to see other LAP lists. I'm trying to put together
an opponent for my Alexandrian Macedonian army.
There are a lot of choices, and the army has the potential to become
quite large.
Normally I'd try to copy a historical model, but really, those ancient
records are outrageous and not very specific.
Two players could read the same material and come up with two very
different armies.
I'd hate to buy $300 worth of figures and then change my mind?

So I'd also love some suggestions and advice.
Noel.

This army was better than I was during the theme tournament. It is pasted
here as a table so if it shows up looking strange on the list, I will change
formats and resend. I was looking for a balanced army that could do well
against a Skythian opponent (which I did not see) or a pike based army
(which was most of what I saw). I was struck by how many two command armies
I saw in the tournament.but I am still not convinced that is necessarily the
way to go. Comments or opinions?

As I was retyping this list, I noticed that I had made a few modifications
to this list prior to game time (and corrected a few math errors), but they
were minor and this is very close to what I came with.
