Hi,

i am about to make an order to somewhere, for delivery in the uk for a full
complement of your existing books and 5 copies of imperial warrior. Could you
add imperial to your sales site. I know it is not out, but we do not object to
preordering if it means it will be shipped on the day you get delivery.

my group is growing, and i still hope to hold the UK title event this year.
are you guys going to hold a worlds or is the NICT ( hope i got that right) a
worlds event?

any info on tournaments would be greatly appreciated. it would be nice if we
could say our winner qualified for the worlds. also our potential funders may
like confirmation that if we hold the first uk title it cannot just be taken
from us in subsequent years. our local area holds two events i might like to
tie it in with, these are the Whitehaven Maritime Festival and the Egremont
Medieval Festival (i think it is called  festival).

ps i wrote a campain rules book my self  and did extensive research into
ancient navies - ship sizes crews length etc - would this be of any interest to
you.

mark mallard

ps please forward to rest of FHE

I am about to start working out with IWF a plan for a world championship.
Until we have an arrangement, the NICT will have to do.
I can get invites to the NICT for international players, so anyone interested
in helping work out a strategy for a world championship and/or who wants to
send someone to the NICT from another country this year, please let me know.

So our winner/s would get entry into NICT? When is it and where. I am not
saying anyone would come but as i said it would be nice to say you have
qualified.

the above is a bit of a bugbear with our potential funders, they do not like
investing in one offs.

So there are no 15mm national events or international events?

Our intended UK title event would be in 15mm. Although i have no objections
to running 25mm too.

The only 25 mm in our particular group are mine and they are
hoplites/spartans with no new lists to spur me into using them. Unused in 20
years due to lack
of interest in 25 mm proper wargaming in the UK. I think there are a few
armies around similarly unused in the area, i have thought of buying them up but
it would be hard to justify the expense!!!

could you tell me where info on NICT can be found on the web.

It's NASAMW policy to allow anyone coming from Europe to Hcon to participate in
the NICT. You need to provide me with ample notice of your intent to come over
and remember, the NICT is a 25mm event.

Hmmm.... This is another good reason to have a 15mm NICT. Since 15mm seems to be
the scale in the mother country of Warrior!

The NICT is at Historicon each year. See the details at www.hmgs.org

Ok. I will tell you that FHE will be the only source of a world championshop
sanction. Now, we will probably work with and through the IWF to do this,
but in the end, it is only a world championship if we say it is... :)

Ok i will root it out - i wrote (with the help of others) the campaign rules
on an amiga over 10 years ago for 7th - i will have a copy around somewhere -
the ship research was all my own and was in depth - at the time we just had
no tapletop rules that included all the various ships that i had researched.

I am forwarding this email to some of the original campaign players to see if
they have it on paper or disk in any form.

if i dont send you something within a couple of weeks please remind me.
