The recent posts my our newer members regarding some of the design philosophy
behind Warrior makes this most recent Warrior tourney's results interesting.
This is a tourney Jake ran this past weekend. Note the top three armies:

1. Jacob Kovel, T'ang Chinese
2. Sam Page, Pre-Feudal Scots
3. Chris Edgar, Iberian Spanish
4. Dan Woyke, Late Imperial Roman
5. Daniel Kovel, Early Dynastic Summerian
6. Capen Low, Viking
7. Bill Low, Neo-Assyrian
8. Devin Low, Tlaxcalan

>Now, I can't tell you the last time a Tang Dynasty list did this well. And n
ote armies 2-3, barbarian trash. Note the army dead last, Tlaxcalan. Given t
his tourney lineup, one would have expected such a list to do better and Devin
is a pretty good player. Yes, the Tang list has lance-armed cav but none of
it has the punch to beat up. As a big Asian army enthusiast and one who has p
layed against Jake's Tang off and on for oh, coming on 12 years now, it warms
my heart to see the army do well in at least one tourney.

>Sounds like fun guys. Wish I were there.

lol! Jake's been crying for years that his Tang suck! Heck, I remember back in
the early ninety's when He was painting on that army when he was a Captain
living in Missouri! He was so proud of the figures! Glad to hear the Tang
finally came out on top!
