Thanks from FHE to you, Jamie, and to all the guys who made it at the last

Scott,

I need to give you a tournament report for the NASHCON Warrior
Event. It event was at Nashville TN on 29 May. Larry Essex was
scheduled to umpire the event but at the last minute he could not
make it due to family requirements. I filled in to keep it going.

The conditions were 25mm, 1 List, 1200 Points, 3 Rounds, 4'X 6"
Tables with 2 terrain picks.

Standings:

1 Kelly Wilkinson Burmese 15.4 Points
2 Greg Croyle Incan 10.1 Points
3 Robert Richardson Viking 08.7 Points
4 Will Richardson Arab Conquest 08.3 Points
5 Steven Hollowell Arab Conquest 07.6 Points
6 Chris Richardson Feudal English 07.1 Pints

The Best Sportsman Award went to Steven Hollowell.

I want to thank Jamie again for running the show and especially for loaning me
lead. I had a great time and every single player there was a pleasure to game
with. I hope more can make it next year and Jamie gets a chance to play next
time.

Feudal English! Another army I always wanted to play (covering both
Richard I in Normandy and Edward I all over - though interesting
that is perceived as the same army) but was too chicken as it seems
difficult to me (crud I can hear the wind against the axe already)
to put together a decent list for these.

Anyway kudos for trying.

Sounds like my favorite type of tournament! Anyway, this guy (above)
had a terrible Derekcon with those Inca since he faced kniggits and
longbows with 2 full ranks of shooting. Good to see him do so well
there. He is, IMO, the painter's standard of quality. Always a
gentleman, always a great guy to do a few shots with. Congrats!

Boyd,

I agree. Greg and I had the most fun in our game! In fact, we BS'd for the
majority of our game. I was very tenative about whether I could pull off a
victory with an Incan army against my Burmese but as it turned out, it was my
obligatory Medium Cavalry armed with JLS, Sh that were the hero's of the game.
They were a 4 element unit that I spread out in a single line 4 elements wide
and charged harry carrie impetuous into his Reg A guard. As it turned out, the
fierociousness of my charge cause those "A's" to roll a 1 and fail their waiver
test creating a sucessful butchery. The rest of the game pretty much went the
same way. I rolled up quite a bit. How does that old book of lists quote go? "Up
three! It's all a game of skill!"
