Warrior Ancient and Medieval Rules

Sometime in the next week or three, FHE will have available a sorta "while you
wait" booklet containing all the armies that won't be in the three books publ
ished to date or the upcoming books (New World & Feudal Warrior). Oops, when
I say "all the armies" I mean all the armies in the old WRG books whose conten
ts are now owned by FHE. This booklet will be available thru Jake, pricing an
d details to be determined. It won't be fancy but it'll do the trick for thos
e who need access to the older material while I industriously slave away at li
st production.

This is probably a good seque into telling everybody that the FHE page is upda
ted (except for Events) so that you can order Holy Warrior. Also, the List er
rata has been updated for all three published books. Also also, we've changed
how we're listing FW list errata. Instead of finding that under Rules Clarif
ications, they now have their own page (link to it from the Lists page). Most
FW list errata is on Opponents.

When I get the details worked out on the Theme for Cold Wars (expect at the ve
ry least the Mini to be thematic in nature), I'll update the Events section.

I have book 1 dated August 1981
book 2 dated January 1982
book 3 sated November 1982
I also have an army lists Vol 1 that Hutchby & Clark put out in 1992
and Vol 2 they put out in 1993.
I can make these available to you Scott with the proviso that they be
returned when you are done with them. I don't throw anything away. Or I can
see about scanning them to an electronic format and getting them to you that
away if time is not to much a factor, will take a few days.
Side question? - is there a Holy warrior book list available? Eaglewars's
page hasn't been updated in a while.

Are you saying this booklet will contain *actual* army lists (incl stats,
numbers, etc)? So I wont need a copy of say WRG lists book 3 to get the
details on a list from that book, just the booklet your talking about
publishing?


The book will include *actual* army lists from the original 3 books not not su
perceded by those armies found in BIBLICAL, DARK AGE, HOLY, NEW WORLD, and FEU
DAL WARRIOR. Yeah, the latter two aren't out yet but NEW WORLD will be by the
end of the year and Feudal sometime during the first 1/4 or 1/3 of 2003 so th
at's soon enough. This will not be anything clean or fancy but enough to get
those of you who never purchased the original books something to work from in
the meantime.

Big warning: If you're about ready to paint and base a new army of, oh lets s
ay LIR, I'd seriously consider holding off because there are no guarantees tha
t the old lists will have tons of carryover into the new lists. That being s
aid, we are endeavoring to keep the social dislocation of new lists and army r
eorganization to a minimum.
