That rule is the same in Warrior.

really no advantage for LTS, since they were beaten frontaly by Pike,
cost the same, and still suffered the same penalties for disordered

In some situations, LTS counts two full ranks. And the -2 for facing P does
not count if you are steady non-impetuous LTS.
- are all the troop point costs the same?
Yes.

Hello,
I used to play 7th edition a lot and have heard about Warrior. I was
wondering about some specifics:
- which version of 7th is it closest too? early or late?
- specifically, in later versions of 7th there was a critical change
that troops who enter skirmish must have enemy in range. This was a
big drawback for javelin LHI/LMI. How does Warrior handle it?
- also, are there any further restrictions on Pike? In 7th there was
really no advantage for LTS, since they were beaten frontaly by Pike,
cost the same, and still suffered the same penalties for disordered
etc.
- are all the troop point costs the same?
curious
