Interesting. . . I usually make the list for the NICT and never received any
such poll questions. hmmm... But since it's not in 15mm anymore, I suppose I
shouldn't care. They really are two different games (25mm and 15mm). For that
matter, I believe that I only participated in two or three NICT events that were
25mm and that was with lead I borrowed from my friend Jake Kovel
(Proto-Vietnamese! Oh and the one year I brought My Tibetans). I suppose 25's
are fun but I still prefer 15's. It's too bad that the event is no longer
offered in 15's. . .

You guys ROCK! Go CanCon! Or is that Cancun? Wishful thinking on my part

I'll post my NICT survey results in a couple of weeks. But the clear majority
of those who answered the poll (23 players I think) preferred 4 hour rounds at
1600 points.
I actually prefer 1200 point games over everything we do (although I've had two
very enjoyable years at 2000 pts Doubles--Jon, Demetrius is waiting should you
gaff off that "other" partner of yours>grin<, I'm telling ya, we can win in 15mm
running AES). We currently play these 1200 pt games at 3 hours. Actually, I'm
a better Warrior player as the point count in the army goes down--go figure. I
actually like playing Burgundian Ordonnance at 1200 pts in either scale although
in 15mm, the army fits in the palm of my hand:) :)
The decision here in North America to go with 1600 points was made slightly
before my lengthy tenure as Chief Umpire. Since we now have a nice variety of
point values at our tourneys (1200, 1600, 2000 and around 700 if you're playing
FW), nobody's squawking about changing point values. Other occasionally run
tourneys use the oddball 1350 pt army.
