I cannot imagine anything better NICT-wise than finally getting to play you
with that match up. See you there.
>Just to refresh everybody's memory, this year, we're gonna start the NICT at
8:45, mainly so I can draw each of your cards out of a box (or something) so
that you'll see the first round draw develop as it happens. Even tho I've been
randomly assigning first round pairings for oh, a dozen years now, people still
think I "fix" the first round pairings. The only fixing I've done is not have
people who play each other all the time play in the first round. Even that goes
by the wayside this year so if, for example, I pull Tim and Ambrose's names out
to play each other in the first round, that's what's gonna happen.
>I also need to remind y'all that tomorrow is the deadline for list submission.
Of the people who have stated that they'll be playing, I do not have your single
list (as opposed to simply "I'm gonna play such and such") from the following:
Dave Markowitz
Devin Low
Todd Kaeser
Marc Cribbs
Alex Vaeth
Tim Brown
Dave Stier
Bill Low
Derek Downs
Jevon Garrett
Tim Grimmett
Rich Kroupa
Ambrose Coddington
Dan Woyke
Phil Gardocki
Ewan McNay
I have not heard yay/nay in terms of participation from:
Matt Kollmer
Charles Randow
We could have as many as, get this, 30 players in the NICT this year which if
last year is any indication, will make us, by far, the largest NICT tourney run
by NASAMW! With that many players, again, steel yourselves for playing a 4th
round Sunday morning even if you might be in the lower half of the "cut". Don't
forget, with 30 players, the top 5 will qualify for the NICT next year so
there's some motivation for playing.
And we already have a qualifier for next year, Greg Regets, by benefit of the
tourney he won last month. Hopefully Greg will drag himself out of the feudal
principality known as the Republic of Texas and head to Yankeeville PA to butt
heads with the rest of the Warrior world:) :)

Naah. First round is fair. It's the later rounds that are rigged .

*Tomorrow*?? Ack. Where's all my feedback to aid in my decision???
:)

Congrats, Greg! I assume that you already found a buyer for the
Seleucids? Too bad - I actually have a few $ now! Anyone else who
would like to sell me an army is invited to let me know what they have
before H'con so I can contemplate :)

Is there a 15mm NICT, or does everyone play 25mm?
