 |
|
Hi all. I was going through my Oriental Warrior and I noticed
that not a single list tells me how many and what # of points my
various Command Factors are. (Reg, Irr, for detachments, etc)
Did I get a misprinted copy? Or is there a new faq on how command
factors are supposed to be pointed out for units?
If someone can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated - I'd like
to put together some OW lists to try out, but without the command
factor points, it's impossible.
Thanks!

OW, page 5, fifth paragraph, section labeled (ii).
Note that this is effectively now universal.

Huh? What's "universal" when all the other books have the quantities
of Units and Detachments specified for each list?

Every list errata on the FHE website contains the following line:
GLOBAL CHANGE: There is no command factor limit on the number of units or
detachments in any army; allowable detachments are still determined by the
command point lines in each list.
It has been so since OW's publication and was announced and discussed here
previously.

The second part of the sentence contradicts the first part: "There
are no limits, semicolon, detachements ARE limited... " I'm confused.
Do you mean that only the types of units specified may have detachments?
I missed the whole discussion somehow. Got a subject line title or
date bracket I can search for? I though the limits on number of
bodies was an important part of each list's design?

Correct.

I do not, sorry.
