I was out in Bonnots Mill two weekends ago and he was very good. Of course
he was not permitted to eat garbage plates or consume Corona...

OK, gang, we're doing well on the secret plan to occupy every minute
of Jon's day with answering rules Qs. But only having the one topic
on flank support is not going to cut it. We need volunteers for Qs on
shaken scythed chariots, incendiary pigs in woods (especially if
weather is dry), and the role of dietary restriction in Elamite
chariot warfare.

Let me know who's taking each subject.

Some well-needed humor. Bring it on! I will unleash upon you all a real-life
example of the problems with Elamite dietary restrictions....

I volunteer for all pig questions, to the extent I have not already asked
them. BTW under TOG, the woods would be ablaze after some appropriate die
roll. However, Warrior explicitly reserves such questions and siege and
fortification matters for later editions.

One of my favourite games was against Cyrus' persians. He brought the
archer-platform towers, which I could not work out how to remove.
Until... we got a strong wind across the persian baseline, so some LC
raced down and set fire to the grass on one flank. The ensuing blaze
took out most of the persian army as it came across the field, and the
towers were firewood.

'Gobsmacked' did not do his expression justice. Smile)

Ahhh... unless this is one of those top-secret upcoming Mongol list
rules! Doh! Sorry, Jon!
