Dear all - questions re Inca wardogs from a game completed less than half an
hour ago...

1. Do wardogs count as foot or mounted troops for movement priority purposes?

2. If counting/'fighting' as a scythed chariot, do enemy non-impetuous loose
order foot test for being charged in the open by wardogs?

3. If wardogs count as irregular foot (ie. LI), do they receive hand-to-hand
casualties as Irr. foot; ie. doubled?

4. Do wardogs scout; as LI; and count as how many figures (ie. 5 figures, or 1
element ie. 1/4 of a scouting point - it all helps when fighting Aztecs, or
something else similar - I have outscouted an Aztec army with Incas in the
past)?

5. If wardogs 'fighting' as a scythed chariot, do they cause unease as per the
chariot?

6. If mounted, do they incur disorder for charging across difficult terrain?

7. If 'fighting' as a scythed chariot, can they in fact enter difficult
terrain?; ie. a scythed chariot cannot enter terrain that forbids wheeled
vehicles.

8. Anything else I haven't thought of?

Also - just to be a pain in the arse - what of stampeding herds, in relation to
any of these facets; are they mounted for priority and effect on loose-order
foot?; can they enter difficult terrain?; I can figure out they don't scout,
counting as transport; anything else I haven't thought of...

Sorry for not being on the Classical Warrior wave-length as yet; Air Post is
pretty slow to Australia from the U.S. Also, our home comp. looming in three
days time...

Regards, Jeff TILLITZKI

Foot. Mounted is defined in 2.23.

No. They are not mounted. 16.26 only describes what they fight as.

They do not fight as irreg LI, they fight as HCh.

They are not LI, they move and are shot at as LI.
