In a recoil, is it only the front rank that can fall back through its
supporting ranks?
Or can successive ranks behind the front rank also fall back with the
front rank?
e.g Body 4 ranks deep. Ranks 1,2,3 all recoil to end up behind rank 4.
Body starts ranked 1,2,3,4
Body ends with ranks 4,1,2,3
Does depth of element become a factor?
Thanks,
Terence

You may exchange ranks in any way you like. Depth does not matter.
