Sorry, Don, et al. I should have mentioned this and not left you hanging.

Retirement is one of the three-four final issues we are looking at intensely.
However, we are focusing on the "offensive retirement" and not specifically the
issue of continuing a retirement without a prompt.

However:
Note that WRG 7th says quite clearly on page 25 that retirements "must be
prompted unless in retreat," so what is in Warrior now is not a change. I am
aware that some players (and judges!) are confusing marches and retirements due
to the use of the word "initiate" on page 20. But this is precisely the type of
problem Warrior is designed to fix. I think we should leave retirements as WRG
intended, not as interpreted. But I have to runthis through the other horsemen.

I'll get back to you when we have retirements wrapped up.

I have always agreed with this. Chris had some memory of unprompted
sucessive retirements and until this past Sunday that is the way we
played. Sunday we played ALL retirements (save retreat orders) were
prompted.
