I am certain that I can be there. I will likely drive up with Don and or
Pat. I can bring terrain and both 15 and 25mm lead.
Pat, Gilles, Harlan, anyone from San Antone? What of Les? Is there no one
in the OKC area? Anyhow add me to the list.

Could someone put the details of Twistercon here? I'd like to take a look
and see if it is possible.

Wow, I received my copy of Warrior and it looks great. Does anyone
know if there are any Warrior Events scheduled for Twistercon 02? I
know we are hurting for a Midwest Regional Coordinator but I thought
perhaps someone might have set something up. Any of you DFW folks
willing to meet the KC crowd halfway????? Any of the KC crowd
interested????

ABSOLUTELY!
March 22nd. I will be there with both 25mm and 15mm (25's prefered), and
new rules!!! :)
We had talked about putting on a tournament at T-con, but our tourney's have
good response, 15-20 saying they'll attend, then only 6 show up. A very
deflating experience. But I will definately be there. We can talk about
having future Tourney's at Twistercon.
I must say that I hope Jon can make it as well so I can meet him in person.
Other DFW Commanders?????

I was originally scheduled to run a Warrior game at Fort Worth Wars (which
were canceled). Jeff Lawrence is the FWW dude and I believe he does
twistercon as well. I did not contact him due to my ankle. I think at the
very least we should bring lead and play a game on an open table. It should
at least attract some interest. I will be driving up, so I can throw a bit
of terrain in the car. It wont be much (free standing tree models for
forest and lichen for brush plus my good hills). If Chris can bring his
gully/hill and river we could get a pretty cool looking board.

I had not really thought about going but if there is enough interest, I
could be enticed into driving down there. I'd even play 15mm if that
meant a good turnout although 25mm would be the "preferred" scale.

Well, hmmmmm. Right now there are two from the South, Tom K makes
three, I could be a 4th. Find 4 more players who can *really* commit
and we're good to go, assuming they can make table space for us.

Jon;
Here's a link to my site with the info
http://www.miniwars.com/ReconReport.html
That's all I know at this point. It looks like I'm going. I would
love to play a few games of Fast Warrior. In fact, that would be a
hoot to set up a FW tourney and play a half dozen games instead of 2
or 3. Also, the smaller size armies would allow you to paint and
collect more armies to play more periods.

Attached is the last advertisement / file I received regarding Twistercon
(dated 12/09/01).
The date shows the con to be on the weekend of 3/22/02 - (not as
grayghostrealtor's site which indicates 3/15/02).
I hope the file works out ok. I have a '95 platform, so when I open it,
most of it is garbled(technical term); but I don't think effects the saved
file information. Let me know if it does, I'll find a way to get good
information on the list.

***Hmmm...I'll have to check that out. I thought I pulled it off of
the NASAMW or SOA site, but maybe they changed dates lately.

Well this link:
http://www.tabletoptactics.com/conventions/wargame_conventions.htm
has March 15-17 too. I'll call my friend who lives in OKC to check
it out.

I am looking at going to Twistercon, but I need someone to nail down the exact
date because it matters greatly.

Running a Warrior event at the KC conventions is highly problematic. Any that I
run, and I will be announcing one soon, will be at Tabletop Games in Lenexa.
