I am planning on hosting a Fast Warrior tournament here in Lawrence the
weekend of June 2-3. It would be a one day event with the following schedule:
0900 Game 1
1100 Game 2
1230 Lunch
1330 Game 3
1530 Game 4
It will be a duplicate tournament, all armies provided. The following pairs
have tentatively been designated:
Early Hebrews vs. New Kingdon Egyptians
Anglo-Danes vs. Normans
Later Imperial Romans vs. Early Ostrogoths
Alexandian Macedonian vs. Indian
Teutonic Knights vs. Later Polish
Early Hungarians vs. Mongols
Prizes will be gift certificates worth $10 per pair used for first place and
$5 per pair used for second. Cost will be $5 per person to cover lunch and
snacks. Accomodations for overnight guests are available.
The only question left is whether to go on Saturday or Sunday. If you can
come, and have a preference let me know. If you can come and don't have a
preference, let me know.

I am organizing the next quarterly Warrior Tournament (15mm) for
those living in the DC/Maryland/No Va area.
A tournament takes 3 months to complete. I publish the month's
matchups via email at the beginning of the month and the players
have a month to get results in to me.
Last quarter (Sep-Oct-Nov) we had 10 players.
Next tournament starts in Dec.
Contact me for details.

Scott--
I've got two games still out. One gets played tomorrow, the other slips to next
week.
I'll need to get your blessing on who qualifies; I think McDonald will win (even
at 1400 points; God I hate Meso-American armies) but depends (Eric Turner might
win as well). Due to travel schedule Scott has dropped out of the next tourny
and it may prove difficult to get a "4th game" in to get a clear winner (I'm
looking to qualify the second place winner; we had 10 players).
What is the current "policy" on this?
FYI--You were right. Folks have been very good about getting the games done.
Seems to be working.

Just send me the final results and I'll post who qualified. With 10 players and
the 1st one qualified, #2 *usually* makes the cut.

Hello warrior players. I just wanted to infrom you that on 9-25-05.
The warrior tournament held at Adventure Games in Dickson City PA.
Just outside of Scranton PA was a big success. We had twelve
participants, four of which were from ourlocal gaming group the
Pennsylvania Wargameres Militia. All playing in their first warrior
tournament. The tournament was umped by Mark Cribbs, who did a great
job. ( Thanks Mark) The final standings were,
First place, Dennis Shorthouse, Swiss Second place,Ed Bernhard, Boru
Irish Third place Phil Gardocki, Anglo Irish 4- Asif Chandhry,
Sicilian Hohenstaufen 5-Dave Boor,Late Tang 6-Pete Celella,Marian
Roman 7-Jacob Kovel, Early Polish 8-JonPaul Cosgrove* Anglo Norman 9-
Darrell Swanson* Alexander Imperial 10-Jevon Garrett, Ilkhanid Mongol
11-Paul Wilson* Later Imperial Roman 12- John Carroll* Mauryan
Indian. A great big thank you, to all that played. Especially those
warrior veterans, who took the time to teach and explain the rules
and concepts behind the game to our newer players. They all enjoyed
playing and meeting the more experienced players. And are looking
forward into playing again. I hope to see you all soon. Jim Bisignani
