Down here in OZ we don't use anything to do with the opponents score
except in a count-back situation.

if one player has had three 5-0 wins they are on 15pts- if someone else
has had a 4 -2 a 5-3 and a 5-2 they are on 14 pts - simple. we tend to
let the swiss system work out the player anomolies in terms of match
ups- this works very well for our usual comps which are six rounds.
if it is a small comp most people have played a similar set of players
anyway. In a larger comp the match-up of like scores from the swiss
system tends to match like with like- especially after the third round.
The scores of your opponents are only ever used as a 2nd level
tie-breaker down here- (if players finish on the same raw score, and
they haven't played each other, the highest sum of opponents scores is
the winner)
