Congratulations to you for taking the initiative and relaunching 7th
Edition in a new format. As a former seventh player I am looking
forward to seeing what can be developed and hope that "Warrior" will
provide a viable alternative to DBM for wargames in NZ.
Have the rights to the army lists also been bought and will these be
brought up to date in the light of the considerable advances that
have been made since the original sixth edition army lists were
written. I suspect revising the army lists would be a much more work
than rewriting the rules.
(PS My berserkers are still based as a wedge but there's no wedge in
the draft rules, is it going to be blocked?)

Thank you, sir.

That is the plan.

We are purchasing the rights to the original three army list books, and are
reissuing a new set with even more lists. We also have all the research that
went into the NASAMW lists to draw from. I think the final count is six
books broken down by period or geogrpahy. Each list will include climate and
historical opponents. They will be costed out in terms of elements.

So our list guy whines routinely!

Troops that wedged in history and have a weapon that does not already get 1.5
ranks (such as 2HCW or 2SA) will fight 1.5 ranks. These rules will be list
specific. Thus your berserks will 'wedge.' They will not need the split
bases, but there will be no need to rebase either.
