Remeber the old days when Mongols would run amok setting brush fires?
I think there is a beleif, probably correct, that this got kind of
out of hand.
But my recent thoughts about fire syphoneers and terrain troops made
me wonder...
If a real Byzantine general was faced with the problem of not having
sufficient proper troops to contest the bad going on his flanks, what
would he do?
Keeping in mind we are talking about "devious Greek-ling" Bynzantines
here...
Of course, he would take the fire syphons and set the woods ablaze!
How come you can't do off-beat stuff like this anymore?
Grab your favorite boulder, and torch up the flaming pigs it is time
for a bar-b-que!
(Just having some fun here... )

Well, it is my opinion that there are too many gimmicks in the rules as it is,
BUT - we will have fire in all its forms in Siege Warrior.
Whether a tourney organizer allows some of those rules to be used in an event is
up to him...
I would expect things like the NICT or Teams would not allow that...lol

Aww...Come on, Jon. Loosen up a little. This stuff is in the rules
currently for a reason. Murph's right. That's precisely what any self
respecting Greek general would do! What, the NICT is now going to be
off limits to wily Greek-ling players who disdain killer troop types?
Is Warrior just going to become a stylized version of rock-paper-
scissors, or are we going to have some of the strategems historically
used, too. As far as I'm concerned, the entire hit chart for shooting
casualties is a gimmick and ahistorical, but you don't hear me saying
we should ban shooting from the NICT (of course I'll probably never
win anything, so what am I worry?)

is there to stay....
