XXX Rule for Fog of War:

Here is a true version of Fog of War.

All Units/bodies, which are not lights, must be deployed as a Counter.
Light troops have an option to be deployed as a counter or as a unit.
A counter must represent one of three unit types; Infantry, Cavalry,
or El. Each counter must clearly denote the type of unit it
represents. Ex. Military symbols on the counter. Each counter will be
roughly the same size (foot print) of the unit it represents.

Before deployment, each player rolls one die or two dice if you have
out-scouted your opponent. The number generated is the number of dummy
counters place during deployment phase. Player may not use a dummy El
counter (unless agreed on by players).

Follow deployment as a standard Warrior game.

New Game Phase: Maneuver Session

Maneuver Session may only last six rounds. It can end as soon as both
player agree the stop and continue as a warrior game. At the end of
each round of the Maneuver Session, one player rolls a die, if the die
score is greater than the number of counters in play, the maneuver
ends. Counters are removed and replaced.

All units/counters may only use March movement to move. No tactical
moves are allowed. Units within 240 paces may not move. Light Troops
with no friendly Unit (not a counter) behind them( in support), may be
pushed back by an enemy unit (not a counter) of non-lights.

Dummy units are removed and replaced by the body of figures they
represent when seen by an enemy unit. If two counters oppose each
other, the one that moves into visual range first is revealed first.
If it is a real unit than the stationary counter is revealed. If the
first counter was a dummy than the stationary counter is not revealed.

This is from the Koenig-Krieg game with some changes. It is very
interesting to play but you need a big board. For a 1600 point game
use a 10' x 6' in 25mm and 8' x 5' in 15mm. Plus setup is fast.
