Even after playing this game for awhile, I still get confused as to some of the numbers in Warrior Lists, specifically the ones used to purchase Elements.
For example, it's common Knowledge that if you have a Line thatsays
Knights Irr B HK L, Sh........2-12
Means you have to buy at a minimum 2E and a maximum of 12E
But what about the following:
Late Period
Upgrade Knights to EHK.......1/2-All
Does this mean If I buy Knights and am using a Late Period Army, I must make 1/2 of them EHK?
Thanks,

Short answer is "Yes".
"...if I buy Knights" is misleading since the list mandates that you buy at least 2E of Knights. Thus, if you're playing a late period army of the generic list in question and assuming you only purchase the 2E of knights, then at least 1E must be upgraded.
And to come back to a point brought up before (check the archives), if you purchased 3E of those knights in the late period, 2 would have to be upgraded to EHK since upgrading only one would not meet the "1/2-all" requirement, ie., half means half.

So, if I'm running Late Period Berbers withthe Spanish Christian Ally 1/2 the Knights have to be EHK...
Thanks,
