The following issue came up this weekend: Can an impetuous body charging drop elements to charge through a gap, even if the bodies forming the gap would be units the impetuous body could interpenetrate (but would cause disorder)?

6.53 does not seem to draw a distinction between whether the bodies that create the gap are interpentrable for charges, or for other move types for that matter. I can't seem to find this issue addressed elsewhere.

Thanks. Dave.

Great question Dave. Can't find it myself.

Use to be if a full element cannot fit through the gap or if separate bodies are too close to the target it cannot fit in THAT gap, it cannot charge.

E.g. target is 40pp away from enemy - 2 element cav units wants to charge it - no room as 2 elements are 60 paces deep

Thats my 2 bits
