Two questions on the Syracusan List:

1. List data shows: Mercenary Etruscan Hoplites Reg C MI 1/4 to 1/2 HTW, rest LTS, Sh @ 16 pts.

Does this indicate the HTW portion of the unit does not have a shield?

2. List Rule: LTS/HTW armed Etruscans fight if directly behind an element of the same body fighting with the other weapon; enemy deduct 2 from tactical facotrs only if LTS-armed are in the front rank.

Does the 2nd rank fight at half or full effect?

Thanks

HTW guys have shields and are costed that way in the line item.

LTS fight full. That's a straight reading of the rules and the list rule says nothing to change that.

Go Etruria!

Scott-

Thanks for the quick reply. I interpreted correctly, but wanted to confirm.
