Recently a conversation came up about use of shields and 2HCW. A unit of Shielded LMI was charged on the left flank (shielded side) by a unit of Heavy Cavalry. There are those who maintained that the unit only counted shielded to frontal opponents; whereas, others maintained that the flank was still shielded irrespective of weapons choice. Which is correct?

Page 69, rule 7.1, right column, fourth bullet. Frontal is the answer.
