(hope this is the right section <donning asbestos suit to avoid flaming>)

Just curious as to how many players run historical lists as opposed to best win lists?

I had some success with Carthaginian (Trebia?) Small commands etc.

As a tournament convenor for a completeley unrelated different set of rules (WRG 7th) I introduced a scoring system that included a rating for "Historically accurate".

Alas the system was so flawed it on;y ran for 7 years 8-}

and managed to curb some of the sillest unit combos ever ( 1 rank of x, 1 of y, 1 of z (did they really do it or do I just want to win).

I ran sumerian and got chewed up every game but it was fun being able to say - hey i'm not a rules dufus (W*nker in my native tongue) but a real general when I managed to win.

It also canned the penny-ante units of 1E of this, 1 of that and so on (give me a break)

So any input would be of value
