Hi Jon

How did Fall In go? What was the response to the game?
I followed the thread you had posted on at the FOW forum, so I guess you felt that WB was worth going ahead on. I think that's great.
I can't wait to try the rules.

I assume you've downloaded ver 1.0. If not, please give em a perusal. We're gonna get some games in in St Louis in December. I'm hoping to put figures on a table and walk myself thru the system after 1.1 is posted.

I think it went very well and am working on 1.1 of the playtest rules.

Please post any comments you have from your own games here and I will take them into account.

ps: Keep in mind us who have never played warrior.....I had some trouble figuring out the combat....and the abbreviations are driving me crazy.

Simple minded.

I understand fully.

the abbreviations will stay. we're not going to be spelling out loose order medium infantry every time we say it. just like DBM says Ax(s) instead of superior auxilia....

BUT, there is too much assumption of Warrior knowledge in this version, no question. its that way to get us playtesting quickly, but will be removed more and more with each new playtest version.
