Why play Golden Horde when you can play Ilkhanid or Timurid? Same/better stuff...

The only real reason to use 'original' Mongol would be the flank march list rule...the terrain removal only functions when you have double your opponent's scouting, unlikely in this theme.

Ilkhanid list in the appropriate place with the other theme discussion lists.

Is there a time frame on list restrictions? I need some lead time to paint after all.

Are you saying will there be some cut off date beyond which I won't add any restrictions?

I'll be honest, as of right now, I don't see making any. You can also always email me directly if you have any concerns.

I was asking if you had a date by which you would have any list restrictions, though you answer implies that you don't forsee a need to restrict any of the lists. I would have no problem with that, though I could see some of the list restricting some of the non steppe allies, but that is not that important.
