My father always said, never have anyone who can READ, clean things.
Well, how true it is. My wife and I are trying to clean out the house and get things in order. So I cleaned out the closet with all my old gaming stuff.
Yes, to an illiterate person, the job should have taken 20 min. But it took me hours as I looked through "Manipular Quohog" s , "General", old rule books, WRG PIke and SHot rules(with Polish Winged Hussar) on the cover, SPI Prestag games, Ospery books, assorted AH games and boxed SPI games.
Well, I found this copy of "The Courier" I couldn't find a date except 1989 but not sure if that is the year of the copy. It is Vol IX no.1. In it is an article by our own Scott Holder giving AAR of NASAMW Ancients National Championship game report. Selecuids v Late Romans; Derek D v Keith Smith respectively. Derek won. I guess that both Derek and Scott must have been in grade school at the time since they are both still quite young Very Happy. I don't know Keith. But it was fun.
I also found a copy of "Wargamer" Oct 84. In it is a game by the illustrious Ted Furey named "Afghanistan". How apropos at the current time. It has chits and map , never been punched out.
Anyway, enough of memory lane

Oh this is probably not the place but I have "The Longest Day" game WWII
Does anyone want it.??

The "Manipular Quahog" remains one of the best ancient gaming "zines". I think I have one or two copies stashed in a box.

Keith is English (and last I checked, still playing). He had a few years of 7th where he crushed everyone with a Late Roman based around light troops and a few B class auxilia.

OHHHH
I think I remember that year now. One year there were some fellows who came from England to play in the Nationals.
THanks for the prompt.
