In my last game with MattK. A question came up.
My HC had a detachment of LI. My HC were 120p behind the LI. I prompted the HC to march away. Now my LI were just within 240p of an enemy. So technically they could not march. Matt and I read the rules and they all talked about the detachment moving away but not the parent unit.
So what should have happened?
A)Parent unit is stuck with the detachment. Neither marches
B) Parent unit marches away and the detachment marches after the parent as soon as possible
C) Both Parent and detachment march away together.

Parent does wtf it wants. Detachment must follow along as soon as possible.

WOW
That's exactly what Memnon said as he rode away on the March phase.
