Hello everybody!

I have a little problem:

that is, medium or heavy cavalry, says JLS, Sh or B,Sh or L,B,Sh, or JLS,B,Sh armed, not shooting and not in skirmish order but being shooted and suffering 2PFF, whats the result for those cavalrymen?

Robert

I think the response is waver test or charge unprompted.

Ed is correct. The response option is waver test or declare a charge unprompted. Note that whether the cavalry is shielded or not makes no difference in this context (shields do affect some foot responses to shooting). Note also that by list rule certain Byzantine cavalry have the option of making a recall move instead.

"Ed IS CORRECT" Very Happy
Thank you Mark.
That's something you don't hear much!
I love your responses Mark. They are so informative.
They are like Todd's. That is why I keep him on a retainer
for the Research Group.
(I do keep you on a retainer, Right???)
I didn't know that Byzantines can get a Recall move.
This is a sacrilege for Ed the Byzantinophil.

Most regular Byzantine cavalry can recall if charged or shot for 2 as an additional option (MC/HC/EHC/LC). Just go to the Fours Horseman website and bring up the revisions to the Holy Warrior lists.

Read the whole thing...as it's a little more complicated than what we state here.

The EHC/HC/MC can also Evade as a charge response without being in skirmish.
