I certainly understand that to post the NICT lists are a bear in time and effort, but if we are to encourage discussion of the hobby this is a great way to do it.
It allows others to see list design and different ways to run armies they may not have thought playable.
It encourages conversation about list choices and keeps more people involved.
I would love to see them posted. We have to go back years to see lists and the game has changed dramatically with deployment that the old lists are not being run the same way.
Thank you for the consideration,

Todd is correct as usual.
As surprising as it maybe. But even I look at some lists to check things. When I write up a AAR I always try to get both lists displayed.
However, I also realize, as Todd said, that it is a bear to get all those lists.
There must be an easy way to get the lists. Scanning. Downloading etc.
I am not a computer wis but I know there are really smart guys out there who know how to do such thing. |

I'd like to see more discussion around here in general (and yes, I'm as guilty as anyone for lack of engagement with this group online). NICT lists are always great fodder for discussion. I'm happy to invest some effort in getting them posted here in a readable form if I have the originally submitted lists to work from. |

Please post these down in the "List Lore" section.
Perhaps, key here is perhaps, I'll get around to making the 2014 lists available but if I do, it'll be in the easiest for me, don't care how it looks to you, way.

I tried numerous times to post there - there is no moderator on that list so in practice no one will ever respond to it....
I'll happily do the work as well

No moderator is listed but I "moderate" it. Moderator doesn't matter.
I can always simply forward you the emails from last year and you can sort thru them. I did it for a couple of years and discovered I hated doing it.

Okay, Todd has just been emailed last year's lists. It's his problem now.
Todd, make sure you post in "List Lore" and not up here.

I am just about to post them - I have reformatted them so they all look the same.
Just need the Alex Imperial List and the Later Polish List to complete all of them.

So if you're like me, you seldom notice when something new in "List Lore" is posted because all of those threads are below "the fold". So I'll post here periodically to remind folks that new reviews of the 2014 Nationals list have been posted. Please go to "List Lore" to join in the discussion. |
