Hello All,

Never had this situation arise before so I'm not totally sure how to handle it.

So, a 4 element deep LMI Unit is charged in the flank by a 2 element wide enemy unit of LI, so that its entire flank is exactly matched by the frontage of the LI.

The LMI succeeds in turning 90 degrees to face the LI in a counter. Is this just treated as a normal 90 degree turn, so that the LMI ends up 1 element wide and 6 deep?

Many Thanks,

Raphael

Counters to turn to face enemy to side are treated as normal 90 degree turns.

Thus a unit less than 5 elements deep turns and is in column.

Many Thanks,

Also, does the LI element that was originally in contact with the flank now count as an overlap against the 1 Element wide column?

Regards,

Raphael

Yes, the LI unit has the overlap (it is a continuing combat, post first bound).
