...and now for something funky:
CinC PA 2E Irr B SHK L,Sh 205
4x 8E Reg D(1 C) EHI(2)/MI(6) P 424 (352)
4E Reg D(1 C) EHI/MI P 78 (56)
6E Reg D LI CB 34
4E Reg D LI CB 26
4x 2E Reg D LI CB 72
4E Reg C LC CB 58
Swiss Ally P Reg A LHI P
& 3 Reg B LMI P & 1 LMI 2HCT 174
5E Reg B LHI P(1)/LMI P(3)/
LMI 2HCT(1) 102
2E Reg B LI HG 26 = 1199
16 units, 2 cmds, 22 scouting
(C class elements in pike units are MI P - this allows them to be prompted to charge without waver, but keeps the total of D class high)

Obviously the point here would be to win with the Swiss with support from the CinC. But I think that EHI may be one of those troop types that we've overlooked in the current deployment system. Since there's no longer force march fatigue these guys can start pretty much where needed without incurring any fatigue. If used primarily for defense, they'll seldom take enough fatigue from movement to end up tired.

Yes, here hopefully 22 scouting on 1200 points is not too few to be able to set up fairly forward.

The EHI can also inch on forth at 40p without fatigue...and beat a great deal you'd see on 1200 Dogs in hth.

What is the armament of the 8E MI units - I see they are P (idiot me)? I am assuming that 2E are EHI so they are 4E deep instead of wide?

Yes, the four 8 element and the one 4 element unit(s) are armed with Pike, no shields.

The are intended to be 4 ranks deep, with the front rank (of 2E, or in the one case, 1 E) EHI.

The lone C class element in each such unit is MI P, so that the total of D class in the army reaches the proper point total.
