Take care to note that these are tournament event guidelines which are not actually the rules...the rules as they are for deployment stand in the case that our evolving tournament deployment rules are not in use. |

Yeah I understand.
However, my rule book is now a large binder with all updates and options. So that when I crush an opponent , they can't quote a rule. I got them all.

For those who fly in -Lancaster or Philladelphia and what would a taxi from Lancaster airport to the host cost?
Trying to figure out what it all costs - may just get a rental - but teams only for me I believe |

Look at a map. If you're willing to drive down to let's say a place like Wheeling WV on Thursday (morning-ish). I could meet you, you could put your stuff in my car and we could drive the rest of the way to Lancaster.
I would get up really early on Sunday morning to head home.

I'm not sure most commercial airlines have partner flights in or out of Lancaster airport. You'll need to check.
LNS has flight to and from Washington Dulles (IAD) on Sun Air.

BWI is also a very reasonable airport for getting to Lancaster via rental car. I've done that several times. |

Based upon this new deployment order for commands. It looks like you have done away with all the rules regarding outscouting? Correct? |

We have effectively superseded them with the new deployment procedures.
3x scouting does provide advantages as noted. |

OK
Showing my ignorance again.
Looking at the placement of commands.
Says, side 1 is more but not double side 2 they get a +1 on dice.
This sounds like if I out-scout side 2, I have a better chance of placing my command. If I out-scout someone, don't I want them to place first.

If you have more but not double, you get +1 per 'command pair' to determine who places first. If you win the die roll, your opponent places the command first.
If you have double but not 3x, you get +2.
If you have 3x or more (our old out-scout), you get +3.
Still, always, if you win that die roll per command pair, your opponent places the command first, then you place yours. |

Important:
First clarifications in almost 8 years are now posted in the appropriate section. I haven't posted them directly on the web site yet, will need to do that next week.
Yes, these are in effect for Cold Wars and yes, the replacing in combat sequence didn't change from the rules--what you see pertaining to that is literally clarifications and tinkering with the existing mechanics as the rules are written. Any person posting a question about that will see their post pulled. If you have emails from me saying something different (we were heading down one path, then stopped), forget you saw those emails.
