Hello gents

A unit of heavy chariot is charging through a routing LMI unit and combat the pursuers, I understood that the chariots are disordered and the LMI are pushed up to 100 paces back. The choriots loose the combat and are pushed 40 paces back. What of the LMI and what of the chariots then?

Robert

Once the LMI are replaced in combat, they are handled the same as any other unit in that position. Whether the LMI ended up behind the chariots because they were replace in combat, approached to that position, or evaded to that position as a result of an unrelated charge... it's all the same. The chariots recoil, and if they cannot recoil the full 40 paces then they are still considered recoiled for all combat purposes. In other words, the enemy body is considered to be following up, and can therefore expand (if of a troop type eligible to do so).

Thanks for the response Mark, but are the chariots not disordered (again) because they become mingled with the routing LMI's?
