Cannot wait for the weighting though - wont be running Teutons - but think I have a good competitive list I can run - we will see how the weighting works |

We are working on the weighting, and additional issues.
You will want to wait for all of that...as it will make the final difference in what you choose to run.
Our goal is a diversified field, as much as we can cause that. |

Perfect Frank - looking forward to many armies all competitive based on terrain, composition and points value. |

In fact, don't count out any list. Consider that lists that are worst will receive additional points, and those that are best will lose points.
We'll also go through and clean things up and issue a Theme version of all of them (which won't be radically different). |

Scott will soon have a post of a document with the lists and their weightings for the Teutonic Theme.
Use those, and not the versions elsewhere in list books. |

Thanks Scott!
Blame me for any errors...I stared at it again and again, making lists...but could have missed something.

Newer version uploaded. Only change is to weighting of Lithuanians.
Early: +10%
Mid: +5%
Late: Even
If you have Teuts, play em. Have fun. If you're gonna power game, power game a "sub-standard" list. _________________ These Rules Suck, Let's Paint! |

Scott - making lists that you think are "better" is half the fun of the game - I don't really understand the term power gamer - in my mind you try to make the most of a list that you use, whether you love the time period (Alexander and successors/ punic wars for me) and or because the army is playable. I ran Romans for years - but when lance went to rank and a half they became unplayable for me against many opponents - SoO I pick armies that are intriguing - have some good troops and would be fun - that always leads to armies that can win (IMHO) and that I would enjoy playing. Everyone has their playing style - I like to fight, and I like to have some choice as to where I fight, some armies make that impossible, or are so fragile/expensive that they get run over - Derek runs lists I would not enjoy or be good at, same for others - I would rather have fun than win, but struggle to have fun with armies that are not competitive (in some format) - Themes - I loved the biblical theme - there we lots of viable armies, and playing styles - that is what I look for in a theme tournament - and that balance is hard to get to. This theme is pretty decent - I just struggle with Teutons - every list I build is meh, expensive knights, poor infantry - ok supporting troops |

Scott is primarily concerned that we have a diverse field...that is, that we got the weighting right...didn't include lists or troops on lists that should not be there etc.
A disaster would be if everyone (or half of everyone) showed up with the same list. |

Newer version uploaded. Take a look at how Teutonic Brother Knights/Sergeants are now treated.
