https://www.charliefoxtrotmodels.com/products/shieldwall-tokens

Everything innovative made in the hobby comes out of the UK.

Easiest thing to do is buy one pack, paint em, mount each token on a base of some kind, then lay it next to a unit in shieldwall. Clearly that's what is done in the games listed in the product.

Another approach is to buy a ton of them, then mount them 1 token to a stand upright and put them in front of the unit in shieldwall.

I'm ordering a bunch and will probably try both approaches.

I have some homemade ones as well that look pretty cool IMO. Let me know and I'll make more for anyone who wants/needs them.

I think a lot of shieldwall tokens will be necessary...

Let's see, 8 teams?

On average how many shieldwalls per army? Around 8?

So, 64 shieldwall markers...should do it.

Frank,

If I make you some you'll probably leave them in Germany despite all my hard work...… Laughing

I ordered 5 packs, thus, 40 tokens.

Still not sure of my approach. I'll do one pack as tokens. The more I think about it, the more I think I won't gain much by depicting an actual shieldwall in front of a unit. It'll simply get in the way.
