It's been a year since 2nd Ed Imperial Warrior came out, the last full-length redo of an army list book. The game plan in Sep 22 was to start on Classical Warrior. To date, nothing has been done.
The reason is literally the week we pushed out IW, I got involved in what became a very high profile historical preservation windmill tilt here in Denver. I was the defacto head of a community effort (with help from the local historical preservation non-profit) to stop a predatory developer from scraping a notable house in my neighborhood. It was literally a second full time job for the better part 8 months.
We were successful in stopping the destruction but the story hasn't ended as the shitbag developer subsequently filed a lawsuit against the city over the outcome *and* has been trying to appeal rulings that have upheld current zoning on the property. He continues to try and pull end runs around what happened. As such, I'm still front and center making sure residents are at meetings, contacting their City Council reps, etc.
As soon as this finishes (mainly his frivolous lawsuit, it'll never be over as long as he owns the place), I'll dive into CW.
In the meantime, we're working on a new Clarifications document plus trying to get tourneys setup for next year.
