Scott: Will terrain this year be similar to last years in that of mostly open tables with one duned? Or different?
Thanks |

I'm going to have 4 kinds of tables:
2 "weird" tables which will be the winter table with the frozen lakes and the desert table. The desert table will be somewhat cluttered with dunes and oasis like last year whereas the winter table will have 2 lakes and the usual hills with impassible portions, woods, etc. Thus, if you avoid the lakes like the plague, it too will be cluttered.
2 "open" tables which will be just that, low hills, nothing steep.
2 "annoyingly cluttered" tables which will be akin to how I setup Saturday tables for many years.
2 "mixed" tables with just that, a mix.
That accounts for 16 players. If I have more, I'll decide on the spot what else to add from the "non-weird" tables but probably avoid "annoyingly cluttered" depending on how I lay out the "weird" tables.
My hope is that I can get everybody over the course of 5 rounds to play on each type of table once and then it'll be a crapshoot as to the 5th table. But my guess is that'll be impossible to do given the numbers and how pairings will play out over 5 rounds. I'll do the best I can.
