Section 2.511 of the rules (p 14) says:

"The number of figures and/or models per 30mm, 25mm, or 15mm is as follows. For 10mm, either use the 15mm number of use an aesthetically pleasing number of "figure strips" and treat them as the 15mm number of figures for all game purposes."

All well and good, but the table below that text only provides one column for figures per element, which I assume is for 30/25mm. Where are the numbers for 15mm?

Figures per element don't change between 15mm/25mm. For example, loose order foot have 3 figs per element.

I actually have some experience with this albeit in DBA. When we were playing heavily back in St Louis, we'd play the game in 25mm, thus with 25mm basing, but put double the number of 15mm figures on the base. Looks cool as hell.

Now, playing the game in 15mm with 10mm figs on the base, I'm assuming you could still double it and it would have the same effect. But I don't know. My only experience with 10mm is my Circus Maximus project which is in 10mm.

ah, OK thanks, I found the wording confusing.

Yeah, I'm physically putting 10 close order foot and five cavalry per 40mm base, which I think looks good, but I thought I needed some other number for the calculations.

I'm originally from St Louis, didn't know that you're out that way.
